YPFDJ Oslo was formally
established in September 2005. Over the last few years w e
have not had a permanent meeting place for our members to gather,
discuss and work on our activities. As a consequence, we have
conducted our meetings at different restaurants, schools and public
offices. We are now delighted to announce that from January 2010 we
have succeeded in obtaining a place that we can call our own.
Saturday 1st of May we celebrated the inauguration of our new office.
 Representatives
from the Eritrean Embassy in Stockholm, Eritrean organisations in
Norway, parents and last but definitely not least, bitsot resided in
Paris, Gothenburg, Stockholm and Bergen took the trip to Oslo to
celebrate with us. The office inauguration was remarkable, with
inspiring speeches, beautiful poems and a tasty dinner. We rounded of
the event by throwing a slamming iRep Eri (I represent Eritrea) party,
where more than 100 youth danced the night away to joyful Eritrean
music.
